A pyramid-scaling teenager got off easy after risking jail time to scale one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World earlier this month. Feb. 29th is known as “leap day,” a custom that dates back to the year 46 B.C.E. Julius Caesar took the advice of the astronomer Sosigenes of Alexandria, who knew from Egyptian calander that the year was about 365.25 days in length.
