Matt Iannucci Education and Certifications:
Biography:
Like most of you I was born and raised a North Plainfield Canuck. I grew up in our little town, attended West End Elementary School and graduated from the High School in 1999. The friends and connections that I made in North Plainfield have stayed with me my entire life and it is something that I am truly grateful for. Following high school I attended Kean University where I graduated with a degree is History, hoping to become a teacher. I quickly realized that I wanted to stay in school so I decided to pursue a Graduate Degree at New Jersey City University where I studied History and Special Education.
I completed my student teaching at North Plainfield Middle School and was swiftly hired, due to my superior teaching technique and charming personality. I have never left North Plainfield and I don’t think I ever will. I have officially taught middle and high school in North Plainfield for 18 years. I have also been teaching at Kean University in the History department for the last 12 years. So as you can tell from my education, teaching experience and this web site…I love History.
When I am not making tremendous lesson plans for both North Plainfield Middle School and Kean University I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My wife and I have an 6 year old son named Jack and a 4 year old son names Charlie who keep us on our toes at all times. We also have a great Wolf / Shepard named Khaleesi who might be the most majestic beast ever to walk the Earth. I am a huge fan of film (especially Science Fiction), reading, comic books, video games, baseball and golf. I look forward to our time together in the classroom and our trip throughout history.
